About the Role

This is a very exciting opportunity to join Verkada's growing People team. You will report directly to the Vice President of People. We are seeking a forward-thinking and operationally strong leader to lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle and People service delivery. This role is responsible for building and optimizing scalable People processes that support a growing and high-performing workforce. This is an opportunity to move from functional leadership into enterprise impact.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our office in San Mateo, CA, 5 days a week.
What You Will Do
  • People Leadership: Manage and continuously improve core People operations, including onboarding, employee records, offboarding, and People service delivery.
  • People Operations: Design and implement scalable People processes, policies, and workflows that support high-performing and rapidly growing teams.
  • People Technology & Systems: Design and oversee the People technology stack (e.g., Workday and benefits systems), driving automation, ensuring a seamless employee experience, whilst ensuring accurate data integrity and reporting.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end employee journey with an emphasis on efficiency, employee experience, and automation.
  • People Analytics: Design and deliver meaningful workforce analytics to measure the impact of People programs and inform organizational health, workforce planning, and executive decision-making.
  • Benefits and compensation: Lead benefit programs globally and partner with our head of compensation to scale compensation infrastructure.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure People processes comply with all local labor laws, internal policies and various audit standards.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with leadership across Legal, Finance, Security, IT and other departments to align people programs with broader business goals.
  • Process & Policy Development: Establish and maintain scalable People policies, SOPs, and workflows that align with business goals and operational standards.
Required Qualifications

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
