Senior Director, Strategic Growth Initiatives

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Growth Initiatives to join our team in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule!

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Impact
  • Establish the vision, priorities, and roadmap for Strategic Growth Analytics in alignment with Labcorp's business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, leveraging customer, market, and commercial intelligence to improve decision making, business performance, and growth while ensuring analytics investments deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strengthen and align Labcorp's analytics ecosystem by expanding adoption of existing analytics capabilities, fostering collaboration, and driving knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, AI capabilities, and opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across a broad range of analytical knowledge and business needs.


Analytics & AI Enablement
  • Lead an integrated analytics agenda spanning customer, market, commercial, competitive, and digital intelligence, including measurement frameworks that connect performance to business outcomes and growth.
  • Develop and scale AI-enabled analytics and decision-support capabilities that accelerate insight generation, improve decision quality, and drive business performance.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations
  • Champion the application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve decision quality, productivity, and organizational agility.
  • Partner with technology, data, and digital teams to strengthen analytical infrastructure, measurement capabilities, and enterprise decision-support capabilities.


Organization Leadership
  • Lead a high-performing global analytics team focused on business impact, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish effective operating models, engagement frameworks, and prioritization processes to support stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop talent and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across a highly matrixed global environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, Science or Analytics.
  • 15 or more years of progressive experience in analytics, insights, business intelligence, customer intelligence, marketing effectiveness or strategy.
  • 10 or more years' experience in healthcare and/or life sciences industries.
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing analytics-related teams.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • 5 or more year's experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Qualtrics, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Databricks and/or Snowflake.


Additional Job Standards:
  • Experience driving insight from large healthcare datasets is critical.
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing, customer, commercial, or decision-support analytics functions that drive growth and business performance.
  • Experience influencing senior executives and business leaders through fact-based recommendations and insights.
  • Experience operating successfully within large, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives.

We are seeking a strategic and business-minded analytics leader to lead Labcorp's Strategic Growth Analytics. This individual will define the vision, strategy, and capabilities that accelerate commercial insights, customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, AI-powered decision support, and growth.

Reporting to the VP, Global Insights, this role serves as a trusted partner to Marketing, Commercial, Digital, Consumer, and Product leaders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business impact. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, business acumen, and leadership experience, with a passion for solving complex business challenges and driving growth through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will generate and socialize insights that drive strategic, commercial, and customer-focused decisions.

Applicants will follow a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
