  • Define and evolve software architecture and engineering standards across the organization.
  • Attract, retain, and develop exceptional engineering talent at all levels.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Regulatory, and Quality to ship compliant, high-quality software on schedule.
  • Design and manage internal operational processes, including planning, execution, and delivery rhythms, across a distributed engineering organization.
  • Serve as a technical and organizational leader across the company, representing engineering to executive leadership as needed.
  • Champion a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Experience running engineering processes and organizational structures at scale.
  • Equally comfortable with cloud/backend development and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work equally well with technical staff and C-level executives.
  • Engineering degree and equivalent experience.
  • FDA medical device experience.

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it's ok if you don't!):
