JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Security & Safety provides leadership to the Security department by managing and overseeing daily security operations, strategic planning, and execution. This position is responsible for both New Hampshire locations; Rockingham Grand Casino and Chaser's Poker Room.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic direction and oversight for Safety & Security personnel in processes including hiring, training, development, and management.
Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments, as well as train, motivate, and evaluate assigned staff.
Establish and maintain department standards, guidelines, and objectives, as well as oversee other administrative processes such as budget and staffing, to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of Security department.
Provide effective direction to Security personnel in response to security incidents, emergencies, and crises to ensure swift and effective resolution while minimizing disruption to operations.
Collaborate with executive leadership to assess and mitigate security risks, develop policies and procedures, and allocate resources effectively.
Monitor the overall performance of security personnel to ensure compliance with department and property policies and procedures.
Develop and implement strategic loss prevention and safety awareness programs designed to progressively pursue a safe and secure environment.
Maintain an updated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in relation to gaming security operations in order to enforce compliance.
Oversee the safety and security of Team Members and customers by monitoring, observing, reporting, and taking appropriate action, when necessary.
Utilize appropriate telephone and radio protocol to maintain communication as a central point of contact for security-related incidents and emergencies.
Oversee routine inspections and audits of the gaming floor, parking lots, and other areas to assess compliance with security protocols.
Review documents related to all security-related incidents, observations, and activities, as well as prepare reports for executive leadership and regulatory authorities as needed.
Maintain confidential treatment of all relevant information and follow up on shift reports, as needed.
Establish and maintain working relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated management and leadership skills in security operational effectiveness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
