The role reports to the Co-Head of Product for CoCounsel Legal.

Understand the customer: Develop a deep understanding of where in-house legal teams lose time, experience friction, and face risk, and translate those insights into meaningful product use cases.
Lead the team: Manage and grow a team of two to three product managers, setting priorities, reviewing work, and developing strong product judgment.
Shape the product: Identify opportunities beyond obvious automation and help define use cases that solve meaningful problems for in-house legal teams.
Deliver across the business: Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and go-to-market teams to move use cases from concept through launch.
Represent the customer: Bring the in-house legal customer perspective into product roadmap and prioritization decisions.
5+ years of experience as in-house counsel or in legal operations, or 5+ years of product management experience working on an in-house-focused product.
Comfort working with generative AI and modern product tooling.
Ability to engage credibly with Engineering teams about what is realistic and feasible to build; coding experience is not required.
Strong creative instincts and genuine customer empathy.
Experience leading or developing product management teams.
Experience translating customer insights into product roadmaps and shipped products.
