A Day in the Life:In the position of Sr. Director, Portfolio Strategy & Commercialization, you will lead the development and execution of integrated commercial plans that accelerate growth across brands, channels, and business units. You will translate enterprise strategy into clear commercial priorities, ensuring alignment across annual, trimester, and in-year planning cycles. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will drive disciplined execution, strengthen organizational alignment, and ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact growth opportunities across the U.S. business.
The Impact You'll Make:- Develop and own the enterprise commercial planning framework, including annual business planning, trimester planning, commercial execution planning, and joint business planning, ensuring alignment to enterprise growth strategies.
- Translate enterprise, brand, and portfolio strategies into clear commercial priorities, selling narratives, and executional direction for Sales, Bottlers, and cross-functional partners.
- Define and govern commercial execution standards, including assortment expectations, brand roles, channel priorities, and activation guardrails to ensure consistency and scalability across markets.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Channel Strategy, Operations, and Sales Systems to align plans, tools, and processes that enable effective execution.
- Establish key performance indicators and lead the tracking, analysis, and communication of commercial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Lead complex, cross-functional commercial initiatives and work teams to advance priority projects, process improvements, and new ways of working.
- Lead, coach, and develop Strategy Directors, setting clear expectations, priorities, and development plans to build a high-performing commercial planning organization.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level materials, insights, and recommendations to support senior leadership reviews and key commercial decisions.
Who You Are:- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- More than 10 years of experience in commercial planning, business strategy, or sales planning
- More than 7 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage industry
- Computer Skills Desired: Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and enterprise planning and reporting tools
