Summary:

The New York Mets are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to head the Partner Solutions vertical within the Corporate Partnerships department. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller and commercially driven professional with a passion for building world-class partnerships and delivering innovative solutions for leading sports and entertainment properties.

As a key driver of revenue growth, this individual will be instrumental in developing compelling creative ideas, thought starters, partnership packages, and presentations for new business pitches, supporting the organization’s aggressive revenue goals. The role is pivotal in crafting insight-driven marketing strategies that attract new partners while also strengthening, retaining, and growing existing relationships. Success in this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution, timely delivery, and sustained partnership success, while upholding the legacy and passionate fan engagement that define iconic sports franchises like the New York Mets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Partner Solutions vertical within the Corporate Partnerships department, overseeing the development of innovative, brand-focused partnership solutions for new business, renewals, and existing multi-year partners

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, delegating leads to strategists and guiding the creation of compelling, insight-driven proposals that support double-digit revenue growth

  • Partner with the Engagement and Business Intelligence teams to develop creative solutions for renewals and incremental growth opportunities, leveraging fan insights, performance measurement, and analytics to influence strategy and decision-making

  • Oversee the end-to-end partnership proposal process, including creative packaging, proposal development, timelines, workflows, approvals, and delivery of polished, cohesive presentations

  • Craft and refine branded proposal frameworks and decks that clearly articulate value, align with Mets equity, and meet partner objectives, including the ability to pitch creative vision to internal and external stakeholders

  • Build and manage financial components of partnership proposals, including P&Ls, rate cards, investment ranges, and asset valuation in collaboration with internal stakeholders

  • Identify, develop, and manage new partnership inventory, platforms, and activation concepts across digital, experiential, hospitality, and emerging channels

  • Lead asset management, rate card analysis, whitespace assessments, and analytics-driven evaluation of new and existing partnership opportunities

  • Guide the team in leveraging internal analytics platforms and third-party agencies to enhance go-to-market strategies, measure partner success, and identify marketplace and category trends

  • Continuously refine the go-to-market strategy for Corporate Partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, KPIs, and organizational priorities

  • Gain cross-departmental consensus and approval on deal points, new assets, and partnership structures by collaborating with key internal stakeholders and operational teams

  • Perform other duties as assigned; minimal travel outside of New York may be required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate studies in marketing, business, sports management

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sports, venues or entertainment with demonstrated creative development, project management, and leadership skillsets

  • Proven experience leading a team of 3 or more for over 5 years

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, working knowledge of Photoshop is preferred but not required

  • Innovative thinker that is kind-of-obsessed attitude to new vendors and sellable opportunities that can enhance the fan experience

  • Self-starter with ability to work as a team, run independently and have attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have strong interpersonal skills and healthy curiosity
