About the Role:
As the leader of the Off-Premises team, the Senior Director, Global Off-Premises will be responsible for leading and growing off-premises channels in North America while influencing key regions globally.
This role will lead the Off-Premises team and develop the overall strategy, roadmap and plans to drive significant growth across digital ordering channels (including 3PD, app/web, and catering) through cross functional partnership in a fast paced and high energy environment. The candidate will be responsible for the overall Off-Premises business plan and achieving relative sales goals on an annual basis.
The Senior Director, Global Off-Premises is the executive leader of off-premises initiatives that generate incremental sales growth and/or unlock new revenue streams. This individual will work cross functionally with operations, technology, marketing, legal, media and third-party partners to drive revenue, profit and operational performance within off premises. They should have a deep understanding of key off-premises channels and disciplined business acumen while being an inspiring and motivating leader for both the off-premises team and the overall Subway team.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Be executive leader of off-premises channels and digital sales growth (including 3PD, app/web, and catering), developing annual sales forecasts and plans to hit relative targets working closely with operations, technology, and marketing.
- Lead off-premises cross functional team in partnership with technology, media, and third party partners to guide overall business strategy, priorities and performance.
- Partner closely with Analytics team to develop KPIs and ongoing reporting cadences for business reporting, operational improvements, and platform performance.
- Primary point of contact and business lead for new digital ordering initiatives (e.g. new 3P marketplaces, AI & Voice ordering) including prioritization, relationship management and agreement/commercial oversight.
- Sales growth and execution focused by working collaboratively to achieve relative goals and priorities that enable operational efficiency, increase guest satisfaction or increase sales growth.
- Owner of the North America Off-Premises annual, and multi-year growth strategy and plan.
- Influence and guide globally and work in partnership with other key regions to define growth driven roadmap and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of management experience in off-premises, digital or marketing with strong business, financial and technology acumen
- Executive influencer with strong interpersonal and written communication skills, building business cases and articulating them for the executive leadership and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated team player that brings excitement and enthusiasm to work each day and has strong cross functional experience, emotional intelligence, and empathy in order to lead a high performing team.
- Successful track record leading off-premises or digital teams in a high growth environment and a strong consumer brand with track record of achieving results and driving improvements, prefer 10+ years of experience
- Ability to inspire and promote an entrepreneurial spirit of resourcefulness and adaptability across the organization while professionalizing the business
- Balances strategic acumen and setting the vision with hands-on teaching/leadership where necessary; willing to roll-up sleeves to support the work
- A love of data and insights, always asking "how can we do this better/differently?"
- A growth mindset: track record of leveraging learnings, demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, always imagining what's possible
- A shared appreciation for and commitment to our values
- QSR/Restaurant/Retail experience a plus, but not required
