Full Job Description
Job Summary: The Senior Director of Operations supports the growth and ongoing operational success of US Eye, leads collaborative efforts to drive impactful strategic and operational outcomes, and provides oversight of operations at all locations within the Ft. Myers and Naples markets.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Supports the implementation and communication of the organization's operational goals in alignment with strategic direction set by executive leadership.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to achieve company objectives by providing operational support and guidance.
  • Ensures clinics and physician teams are properly staffed and structured to meet performance and service expectations.
  • Manages the recruitment, onboarding, and development of management-level staff within the Ft. Myers and Naples markets.
  • Monitors departmental customer service performance to ensure alignment with company standards and policies.
  • Assesses and recommends process improvements, technologies, and systems that enhance efficiency within operations.
  • Tracks key performance indicators to identify operational challenges and partners with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Communicates effectively with clinic leadership, staff, physicians, vendors, and patients to support operational goals and maintain alignment.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives aimed at improving the patient experience, optimizing workflows, increasing revenue, and controlling costs.
  • Assists in developing and managing budgets.
  • Supports achievement of financial performance targets.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ophthalmology/optometry management and business operations.
  • At least 5 years of previous management experience within a multi-site healthcare organization. Ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective, results-driven leader.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, problem solve, and think strategically.
  • Ability to build and foster strong working relationships with physicians and staff at all levels.
  • Strong level of business acumen and analytical skills, including the ability to intelligently use data to drive key business decisions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of practice management and EMR systems.
