The Talent Engineering organization is at the forefront of this evolution. They build the best-in-class suite of products across Performance Management, Engagement Surveys, and Goal Setting, helping shape how organizations develop their people and achieve their goals at a time when AI is redefining what's possible in talent management.
What You Will Do
  • Lead the Talent Engineering organization, spanning 50+ engineers and managers across a portfolio of customer-facing products. Making thoughtful tradeoffs across customer needs, product priorities, and engineering investment.
  • Coach and develop engineering managers and senior leaders across Lattice Engineering while continuing to raise the bar for leadership, execution, and organizational health.
  • Ensure a delightful, reliable experience for Lattice customers around the globe while simultaneously enabling a rapid pace of product development.
  • Partner closely with our Product and Design partners to define, plan, and prioritize our product strategy and roadmap that translates into outcomes for customers.
  • Represent Lattice in conversations with key prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Engineering leadership team to shape department-wide strategy and goals.
  • Scale the systems, processes, and organizational practices that enable multiple teams to plan effectively, deliver reliably, and learn quickly.
What You Will Bring to the Table
  • 10+ years of engineering management experience, including at least 5 years leading an engineering organization composed of multiple teams and multiple layers of leadership.
  • Experience managing engineering investment across a portfolio of products and making thoughtful tradeoffs when resources are constrained.
  • A history of shipping high-quality products where quality, trust, reliability, and scalability are essential to customer success.
  • A high degree of autonomy, ownership, and sound judgment, with the ability to operate with a CEO mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engineering leaders, including both individual contributors and managers.
  • An eye for great products and the ability to work cross-functionally to effectively deliver them.
  • Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence decisions across Engineering, Product, Design, and company leadership.
  • Curiosity about AI and its potential to improve how organizations develop their people.


The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $283,000 - $354,000. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice's applicable plans.
