Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Splash Financial is seeking a Director of Lender Success to lead and grow our lender partnerships and the team that supports them. Our lender relationships are central to connecting consumers with competitive financial products, and this role will help shape how those partnerships develop and perform. You'll build relationships with new lenders while helping existing partners identify opportunities to grow with Splash. Reporting to the SVP, Operations, you'll work closely with teams across the business to turn partner priorities into successful launches, stronger performance, and lasting relationships. You'll also lead and develop the Lender Success team, establishing clear goals and consistent ways of working. This is an opportunity to shape Splash's lender partnership strategy and build the team and processes that support our next stage of growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO AT SPLASH:
Develop new lender partnerships: Work with our business development team to pursue opportunities aligned with Splash's strategy, build relationships with prospective partners, and guide partnership development from initial discussions through launch.
Strengthen and grow existing relationships: Own key lender relationships, develop account plans, and lead conversations about performance, priorities, and opportunities to expand the partnership.
Lead the Lender Success team: Set goals and expectations, coach and develop team members, and build consistent practices for relationship management, communication, and follow-through.
Drive execution across teams: Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to support lender onboarding, implement partner initiatives, and resolve escalated issues.
Improve partnership performance: Establish and track measures of success, use data and lender feedback to guide decisions, and give leadership clear visibility into opportunities, risks, and results.
Provide Portfolio Analysis: Partner with the Credit to provide detailed level analysis of performance trends and return on investment.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPLASH:
Experience developing and managing lender or financial institution partnerships, with a track record of securing new relationships and growing existing accounts.
Experience managing and developing a team, setting clear priorities, and holding people accountable for results.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders, navigating complex discussions, and resolving partner concerns.
Experience leading initiatives across business, technical, and operational teams, with the ability to translate partner needs into clear requirements and action plans.
An understanding of lending operations and the ability to use performance data, business judgment, and partner feedback to identify opportunities and make decisions
Experience with managing a loan portfolio with a deep understanding of the metrics that impact returns, must be comfortable with being the subject matter expert and the lead on presentation
COMPENSATION:
The base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $250,000 annually, based on market data and internal compensation practices. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as location, experience, and skill level.
