Job Description:
The Business Analytics team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services. We are tightly integrated with strategy and investment teams to deliver on and exceed our clients' business goals. This role is accountable for paid media analytics for a major streaming platform in the Entertainment category, focused on Originals series and movie title campaigns within a full portfolio of Sports, Brand, and Live Events content marketing.

Responsibilities

External facing responsibilities:

Consulting with clients to identify business problems / opportunities and develop practical analytics roadmaps to make measurable impact on business outcomes.
Become a trusted advisor to client leads and senior clients and consult on Originals program strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics
Share POVs regarding industry changes in the data and analytics space (future of measurement, new data solutions like clean rooms, attention measurement, etc.)
Leading the development and execution of the measurement plan and revisiting the plan on an ongoing basis to revise it based on your most recent learnings.
Distilling complex concepts and analytic solutions into a compelling data story with actionable conclusions to support decision making.
Identifying growth opportunities at the brand and portfolio level, and the adoption of new analytics technologies.
Investigating the impact of new data sources and technologies on the performance of Originals marketing toward client business goals
Providing ad hoc support to the clients to solve broad strategic marketing problems.
Leading and mentoring direct reports: Continually assess capabilities, provide a roadmap for career growth and institute goals to build / expand skills.
Ensure the delivery of timely, impactful ongoing performance reporting (Trailer, weekly, post-campaign wrap reports)

Internal facing responsibilities:

Partner with the Strategy and Investment teams on media plan development, ongoing budget / plan optimization, performance insights, and holistic decision-making frameworks (eg KPI setting and benchmarks)
Partner with Data Science team to execute advanced analytics (eg predictive modeling, media impact analytics) in service of bespoke, rigorous media measurement and decision-making
Partner with Strategy and Investment teams to develop, maintain and evangelize test & learn roadmaps (including the design of in-market A/B tests for paid media)
Partner with colleagues focus on Brand and Sports content marketing to adopt best practices and align approaches across total content portfolio
Partner with Data Operations organization to develop and deploy best in class front-end reporting and insights capabilities
Recruit new talent.
Lead and mentor direct reports: continually assess capabilities, provide a roadmap for career growth and institute goals to build / expand skills.
Keep in front of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training and attending industry events.

Required Skills

Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data).
Experience in integrated marketing related to paid media, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development. Channels of coverage include Paid Social (Meta, TikTok et al), YouTube, CTV (Samsung, Peacock et al) and Linear TV
Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising.
Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to data and analytics. Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution.
Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience.
Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward - and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs.
Ability to train and coach colleagues for growth: being organized and detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and project management (scope, budgeting, timing).

Education and Experience

A university degree and 11+ years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
Experience in paid media analytics in the Entertainment category is desirable, but not required
Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required New York: $120,000.00-$230,000.00
