Position Summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team who can strengthen infrastructure, improve deployment reliability, and help scale secure, high-performing platforms.
In this role, you will work across infrastructure automation, CI/CD, system administration, container platforms, and observability. You will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency, platform resilience, and operational excellence.

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure usingInfrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Build, optimize, and supportCI/CD pipelinesto improve release quality and speed
  • Administer and supportLinux-based systems across development and production environments
  • Manage and enhanceKubernetesand containerized platforms
  • Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
  • Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using logging and observability tools
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and platform issues
  • Support secure platform operations, including secrets management and operational best practices
  • Contribute to scalable, resilient, and maintainable DevOps standards across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experiencein DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
  • Strong hands-on experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)andsystem administration
  • Experience withsoftware development practicesandcontinuous integration / continuous delivery
  • Strong proficiency inLinux environments
  • Strong understanding ofKubernetes, containerization, and orchestration concepts
  • Solid knowledge ofcomputer networking concepts
  • Hands-on experience with tools such asGitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Helm, Vault, New Relic, and Graylog
  • Experience working withAWS cloud services and Azure cloud environments
  • Relevant certifications such asAWS Certified DevOps EngineerorDocker Certified Associate
  • Experience supporting secure, highly available, and distributed production systems
  • Familiarity with modern monitoring, automation, and platform reliability practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor27s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
