Job Description

We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, crafting and scaling cloud services while supporting our multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as Matterport, Debt Solutions, CoStar Suites, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X.

You will develop automation to deploy, run, and monitor services across multiple public clouds, and collaborate with software architects and application teams around the globe to ensure optimal software delivery, performance, and scalability.

This positionis locatedinSunnyvale, CAand hasthework schedule of 4 days onsite and 1daywork from home.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or college.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• 5+ years of a healthy mix of development and DevOps experience with cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker containers, and Kubernetes, including experience managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus.
• Solid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projects.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
• Expert experience with open-source technologies (such as Linux, APT, and others) and automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Saltstack).
• Expert container experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms is a must.
• Advanced experience of CI/CD pipelines to a wide variety of virtual environments in public cloud providers.
• Strong ability to code your way out of problems using Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, or Bash.
• 3 to 5 years managing monitoring, centralized logging, and reporting systems, building dashboards on application and server performance and scalability issues (examples: Datadog, SignalFX, New Relic, or other operations monitoring tools).
• Conceptual understanding of SQL and No SQL databases, with the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions based on performance, cost and technical fit.
• Experience with configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management.
• Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical application as it applies to improving workflows, observability and team efficiency.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and enjoys working in a global team.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics and RUM.
• Programming languages / some developer background with Java, C#, Python, or NodeJS.
• Serverless architecture methodologies.
• Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation.
• Mobile application support (iOS, Android).
• Experience in REST API or Microservices development.
• Agile methodologies and working on short sprint cycles.

This position offers an annual salary range from $169,000 - $211,000 determined by relevant skills and experience, in addition to a generous benefits plan.
