Full Job Description
Success in this role requires a safety-first approach, a willingness and desire to learn and an attention to detail mindset. As a part of the operations team, you will be a key component of the rocket motor development process. You will be responsible for working alongside engineering and production teams to take a product from an early developmental state to a final production readiness state.

A Senior Technician is an individual contributor that has shown superior and repeated ability to solve problems and design solutions as a technician. They are repeatedly sought out by their peers and leadership to take on "one-off" tasks that require their unique skills and determination. They can function and thrive under pressure and show acute attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement, with engineering overview, solutions to unique problems within the company
  • Create innovative processes, with engineering overview as necessary, to expedite and increase efficiency of programs
  • Document processes with high level of rigor
  • Perform first article build/test/inspections alongside design and manufacturing engineers
  • Provide technical expertise to failure investigations
  • Ask the why/how/where/who questions
  • Own and maintain multiple medium/high/capital value systems
  • Own and improves a process from conception to production
  • Present on work up to Director of Operations level
  • Support presenters with technical expertise at executive level


Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician with progressing responsibilities during that time
  • Demonstrated aptitude for deep problem solving
  • Self-starter

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $35.00- $44.00/hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
