Job Title: Senior Developer (Multiple Positions Available)
Location: 3420 Hillview Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304
Work Model: Hybrid Work Model - May physically report into the Palo Alto, CA or San Ramon, CA SAP office.
Purpose and Objective: Ariba, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer (multiple positions available) at our Palo Alto, CA location to design highly scalable and performance IT solutions which address functional as well as non-functional requirement with high quality.
Expectations and Tasks: End-to-end responsibility, taking care of features from requirements to deployment. Demonstrate excellent development practices, share and motivate others. Promote a culture of high-performance Agile software engineering, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Handle end-to-end project/product techno-functional solutions independently including design, development, testing and maintenance of custom solutions.
QualificationsEducation and Occupational Experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following: - Programming in Backend technologies including Java and NodeJS;
- Programming in Front-end technologies including AngularJS, ReactJS, SAP UI5, and JavaScript;
- Cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, and SAP BTP;
- Agile development Methodologies;
- Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, JSON, and REST;
- Code Building and releases;
- Distributed systems including Microservices and Kafka.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $169,576 - $222,288. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $169,576 - $252,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
