Based in our Kamloops office, you'll serve as a senior technical resource within our Civil Infrastructure team, driving design excellence, advancing standards, mentoring future talent, and enabling the successful delivery of increasingly complex projects. Your Impact
  • Lead the development and delivery of complex Civil 3D models, drawings, and design packages for a variety of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Establish and oversee project setup requirements, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with corporate standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Civil 3D templates, standards, and design resources that improve project delivery across teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing workflow enhancements and design automation opportunities.
  • Mentor, coach, and support junior designers and technologists, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of models, drawings, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Act as a key liaison between engineers and design staff, helping to coordinate technical direction and resolve complex design challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted senior technical resource, providing guidance on best practices, design standards, and advanced Civil 3D applications.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience developing and delivering complex Civil 3D designs within municipal, transportation, land development, or civil infrastructure environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, including surface modeling, corridors, grading, pipe networks, data shortcuts, and project setup.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining CAD standards, templates, and workflow processes.
  • Strong understanding of design coordination, drawing production, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior technologists, technicians, and design staff.
  • Experience conducting detailed QA/QC reviews and implementing quality management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical discussions between engineers, project managers, and design teams.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
