Data rarely tells the whole story at first glance It can be buried across different systems, hidden within documents, stored in completely different formats, or surrounded by noise. The real challenge is knowing how to bring it together and recognizing what matters once you do.
This is an exciting chance to join us in supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as a Senior Data Scientist, where the work you do with data can directly shape how information is understood and used across the mission. You'll work with complex data systems, AI/ML technologies, and everything from geospatial data to JSON and XML, using Python and other languages to clean, manipulate, connect, and make sense of information that may not arrive with an obvious answer. You'll dig deeper through quantitative analysis, develop visualizations that bring findings to life, and turn complex data into insights analysts and mission partners can actually use. As NGA continues to modernize how data is collected, analyzed, and reported, you'll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of data science and emerging analytic capabilities, helping uncover patterns, relationships, and information that might otherwise be missing. If you're someone who enjoys figuring out hard problems, can see the story hidden within complex data, and wants your technical work connected to a mission where the outcomes matter, join XTS today!
