Full Job Description
The Members Division Data Manager is responsible for data management activities including data quality, data integration, reporting and business analytics tools. This role is also responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions. The role supports the product lines within the members division and collaborates with other departments or divisions to ensure the data needs of the division are met and managed. The role also produces tools, apps, reports, and participates in bank-wide data related projects to support the sales teams and contributes to achieving our business goals
Accountabilities:
Responsibilities/Duties/Function/Tasks:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and datasets aligned with business requirements.
• Fosters relationships with product line groups and other stakeholders in the Members Division to identify data and reporting needs to support business objectives.
• Represent Members Division on bank-wide projects that impact data and system needs for the Division.
• Working with Member Strategies and IT partners, manage the Division's Qlik apps or other data reporting apps.
• Coordinate with product line sales teams to create a robust and effective sales enablement data reporting
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and performance-optimized reporting solutions.
• Use Power Query (M) to extract, transform, and prepare data from enterprise source systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects to support reporting requirements.• Perform UAT testing and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex reporting and data-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support business users with report functionality and data-related questions as needed.
• Where necessary, provide effective training and support to product line teams to ensure effective access to and use of data
• Create on-demand reports and assist with data extraction as needed to support product line teams and executive management.
• Help manage required regulatory reporting as needed.
• Coordinate with Member Strategies to manage inventory of End User Computing (EUC) tools including development, maintenance and validation.
• Manage external vendor relationships that support the data and reporting needs of the Members Division.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a similar field of study or equivalent work experience
• Seven (7) or more years in a data analytics, data management, and or data reporting role and preferably a minimum of three (3) years of this experience within the financial services industry or other regulated industry.
• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and handle ambiguity.
• Excellent understanding of data integration, data quality and data administration/management functions.
• Extensive Experience with business analytics/BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations.
• Extensive experience working with SQL/complex queries and proficiency in statistical programming/scripting language.
• Self-starter, equally willing to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Strong collaboration and team management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work well with team members and internal business partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $114,474.00 - $135,938.00
This salary range represents the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible to participate in the Bank's annual incentive plan.
