Senior Controller

Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash receipts, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidated reports, and management reporting packages
Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, compliance procedures, and financial reporting processes
Oversee accounting reserves, estimates, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and compliance partners
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting efforts
Partner with business leaders on P&L performance, inventory management, cost accounting, and financial planning initiatives
Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and accounting best practices
Oversee credit, collections, cash management, and financial risk mitigation activities
Lead audit preparation and support external audit requirements
Coach, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
At least 5 years of experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership role
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes
Experience overseeing AP, AR, General Ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional partnership abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA designation preferred
Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Cost accounting experience preferred
Multi-currency accounting experience preferred
Consolidation and financial reporting experience strongly preferred
