About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Controller to oversee and scale U.S. accounting operations during a critical period of growth and integration. This highly visible leadership role will serve as the primary finance partner for U.S. operations while collaborating closely with executive leadership and the global headquarters team.

The ideal candidate brings a strong operational accounting foundation, hands-on leadership style, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 base salary

Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day U.S. finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, cash management, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and tax coordination
• Oversee accounting activities across multiple U.S. entities and office locations while ensuring alignment with global finance leadership
• Serve as the primary finance lead supporting merger and integration activities across the organization
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial guidance, operational insights, and strategic recommendations
• Present financial results, operational performance metrics, and business updates to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Evaluate existing accounting processes, team structure, and resource allocation to identify opportunities for improvement and scalability
• Manage and mentor accounting and finance staff while helping develop a high-performing and collaborative team environment
• Support operational accounting activities related to inventory, project accounting, and cash flow management
• Lead and support ERP optimization initiatives, including ownership and internal advocacy for NetSuite implementation and process enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve systems, reporting capabilities, and organizational efficiencies
• Ensure operational continuity and financial accuracy throughout periods of organizational change and integration
• Assist with implementation and adoption of new reporting technologies and automation tools

Qualifications:
• CPA, CMA, or advanced degree required
• Proven experience leading accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong background managing operational accounting functions including AP, AR, billing, payroll, and cash flow management
• Experience overseeing multi-entity accounting operations and cross-functional finance activities
• Strong leadership and team management experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system transitions, or finance transformation initiatives
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience delivering financial insights to senior leadership
