Description

Clearance Requirement
  • Must possess an active Top Secret with an SCI that is either active or in eligible status. The clearance needs to be fully adjudicated. Interim clearances will not be accepted.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to comply with government contracts.

The ideal candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while assisting with the preparation of a high volume of contract modifications.

Key to Success: Having the ability to independently draft a high volume of contract modifications in PRISM (or PD2).

Position Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on contract administration support for all phases of the acquisition cycle with particular emphasis on contract administration for service contracts.
  • Ability to create/generate contract modification documents, files, transactions, and folders (actual paper or electronic).
  • Ability to generate and support a high volume of contract documents supporting multiple COs with diverse contract vehicles, contract types, dollar amounts, funding sources, and vendor pools.
  • Possess the ability to assist with strategic-level issues, acquisition planning, formulate negotiation strategies, develop negotiation objectives, negotiate various types of contracts, and analyze cost and pricing data.
  • Assist with procuring services using various types of contracts.
  • Assist with the administration of various types of contracts.
  • Requires knowledge of firm fixed price, IDIQ, GSA, cost and award fee contracts.
  • Direct customer interaction in all phases of the contracting cycle.

Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience with PRISM or PD2.
  • Contract experience in either the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Expert knowledge of DoD contracting procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Word and Excel.

Required Education and Experience
  • BA/BS, in business field, or with at least 24 business-related credits.
  • DAWIA Contracting Professional (or equivalent).
  • 6+ years of contracting experience.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $155k - $175k USD.

Salary Statement: The salary listed above serves as a general guideline; however, BVTI considers various factors when setting a base salary, including but not limited to the scope of responsibilities and the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, contractual requirements, and work location.
