What you will doIn a context conducive to learning and developing new skills and understanding of corporate issues, you will be required to apply your knowledge of finance and accounting or other areas to a wide range of transactional or other contexts.
More specifically, you will be involved in :
- Performing complex financial analyses
- Developing complex financial forecasting models on a monthly or weekly basis
- The implementation of turnaround and restructuring strategies, including the execution of sale processes for companies in operation or liquidation
- Preparation of independent business reviews and assistance in restructuring or refinancing under-performing companies
- Taking possession of assets, implementing protective measures and carrying out asset sales processes
- Drawing up reports for clients and the court
- Direct communication with various parties, including the company, its creditors, suppliers,
What you bring to the role- Accounting title (CPA) required
- Ability to prepare detailed, functional financial models
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Ability to communicate and write in French and English
- Knowledge of the restructuring and insolvency sector, an asset
- Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx and PowerBi, an asset
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Interest in enrolling in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP)
