What You Will Do:- Support federal clients in improving and modernizing grants management operations across the grants lifecycle, including pre-award, award, and post-award activities.
- Assess business processes, operating models, and program performance to identify risks, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, opportunities for improvement, and actionable recommendations.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and requirements-gathering activities
- Conduct analyses and quality reviews to enhance operational effectiveness, compliance, consistency, and program outcomes.
- Develop strategic and operational deliverables, including assessments, process maps, workflow documentation, findings reports, recommendations, executive presentations, training materials, and client communications.
- Support business transformation initiatives through business process improvement, business requirements gathering, Lean process analysis, technology evaluation, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities, drive project execution, and achieve client objectives.
- Own and deliver high-quality work products while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused consulting team.
What You Will Need:- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust; Candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree.
- FIVE (5) or more years of experience in consulting, business analysis, grants management, process improvement, organizational effectiveness, or a related field; public sector experience and grants management experience required.
- Experience supporting federal grants programs, including knowledge of the grants lifecycle, grants administration, operations, monitoring, compliance and oversight activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess business processes and operational data, identify risks and opportunities, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience conducting business process analysis, process mapping, workflow documentation, and business requirements gathering.
- Experience facilitating interviews, stakeholder discussions, and collaborative working sessions.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clear, well-supported findings through executive presentations, reports, and client deliverables.
- Strong consulting skills, including executive communication, presentation development, structured problem solving, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and development of high-quality client deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced client environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Lean Six Sigma certification or other process improvement certification.
- Experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar process mapping platforms.
- Experience supporting organizational change management, stakeholder adoption, and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating stakeholders, and managing workstreams in support of client engagements.
- Experience supporting process modernization initiatives through the evaluation and implementation of automation, AI-enabled, or emerging technology solutions, including development of test cases, evaluation criteria, validation approaches, quality review frameworks, and performance assessment methodologies.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
