Summary

We are seeking a senior level process engineer for Quality Engineering . The candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge in Quality Engineering principles, Manufacturing Setup and a full understanding of quality standards and evaluation methods. This is a global role and will engage with customers and operations in various geographies.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
  • Engage customers on topics of new technology related to Network and Compute system assembly & integrated liquid cooling
  • Provide technical guidance in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & New Product Development (NPD)
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in PCBA process from DFM, NPD, SMT, Tooling and Fixture design for PCBA process, Manufacturing Process Setup & Hot Gas Rework
  • Guide the organization on all manufacturing issues raised by internal manufacturing or customer
  • Lead customer audits from the Technical Support perspective
  • Work with the Quality teams on RCCA via 8D methodology
  • Provide consultation to the product & material quality teams from NPI to mass production (FAI-First Article Inspection), IP(Inspection Plan), WI(Work Instruction).
  • Support on-site and off-site customer activities for Qualification
  • Guide the creation of the quality control plan
  • Engage with customers and the organization to drive continuous improvement in KPI performance to include RFPY (Rolled First Pass Yield), OBA(Out of Box Audit), RMA (Returned Material Authorization), DPQL(Delivered Product Quality Level)
  • Engage in process/product/system/supplier audits and improvement actions follow up.
  • Provide consultation support for the EC (Engineering Change), SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification) to ensure internal and external effectiveness


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Extensive experience in using PFMEA, PMP, SPC, PPAP, FAI, 8D
  • Knowledge of quality standards; AS 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and IPC, IPC-610
  • Experience in customer engagement to define technical requirements and resolve quality issues

  • The job works in generally good conditions with occasional exposure (10% - 33%) to noise, odours, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required.
