Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to serve as a individual contributor responsible for the construction execution and delivery of a portfolio of complex projects.

This role is ideal for an experienced builder who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can independently drive projects through accelerated schedules, evolving requirements, and complex field conditions. The Senior Construction Manager will own construction execution from contractor procurement and mobilization through substantial completion, Certificate of Occupancy, turnover, and launch readiness.

The Senior Construction Manager will partner closely with Pre-Construction, Real Estate, Design, Launch, Operations, Procurement, Legal, and external consultants while directly managing General Contractors and vendors across multiple concurrent projects. This individual will be accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within approved budgets, and to Amazon's quality and operational standards.

Successful candidates bring deep experience in construction management, development, general contracting, architecture, engineering, or owner-side project delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and field expertise with operational rigor, sound judgment, executive communication skills, and the ability to independently resolve complex construction challenges.

Key job responsibilities

- Own construction execution across a portfolio of Quick Commerce tenant improvement and conversion projects from contractor award through substantial completion, Certificate of Occupancy, turnover, and launch.

- Manage General Contractors, vendors, and consultants, ensuring performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.

- Lead construction RFPs, bid leveling, contractor selection, and GMP development; present budgets, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

- Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and critical milestones in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

- Serve as Amazon's primary point of contact during construction, driving alignment across contractors, Design, Pre-Construction, Operations, Launch, landlords, and consultants.

- Monitor progress through site visits, OAC meetings, schedule reviews, and milestone tracking; proactively identify risks and drive mitigation and recovery plans.

- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, unforeseen conditions, and schedule impacts while maintaining appropriate cost and schedule controls.

- Coordinate resolution of MEP, life safety, utility, permitting, inspection, and jurisdictional issues impacting project delivery.

- Lead project closeout, commissioning, punch list completion, documentation, and operational turnover.

- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned to reduce costs, shorten timelines, improve quality, and standardize construction execution across the portfolio.

Travel up to 60%.

A day in the life
