Qualifications

• Significant experience in field inspections across various construction activities.
• Over 10 years in construction inspection, especially on large multimillion dollar projects, preferably DoD or federal jobs.
• Familiarity with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process and EM 385-1-1 safety manual is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Physical ability to conduct frequent inspections, including navigating uneven terrain and varying elevations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on construction deficiencies and propose corrections.
• Review contractor submissions and provide constructive feedback.
• Evaluate contractor work plans and respond appropriately.
• Analyze contractor RFIs, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Monitor and document contractor performance through daily observation.
• Participate in meetings as necessary to coordinate project activities.
• Conduct daily inspections of contractor's plants, materials, and equipment.
• Evaluate contractor quality control reports and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Capture photographic documentation to support inspections.
• Examine contractor punch lists for project completion assessments.
