Responsibilities

  • Review operation and maintenance documents and shop drawings
  • Conduct additional duties as required

Full Job Description
In the role of Senior Commissioning Agent, we'll count on you to:

  • Be the main contact between the client and HDR and direct and manage all Commissioning activities on the project
  • Adhere to budgeted man-hours and execute commissioning services
  • Coordinate with the client and assist the contractors in scheduling the commissioning activities: plans, pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, training plans, O&M, record document and shop drawing reviews and opposed season testing
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree or similar.
  • Commissioning Certification
  • LEED® accreditation
  • Commissioning Industry Experience: Mission Critical, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Higher Education, Government

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of industry experience dealing with mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines
  • Must be willing to travel to site-based locations as reasonably based on HDR needs
  • Must be an experienced engineer, either a licensed PE or a field technician with excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC controls, the T&B process, etc
  • Must have good computer skills and effective typing skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be familiar with the organization of design documents, the preparation of the multidiscipline designs, and the delivery of the design & construction services
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations
  • Understanding of project accounting and financial management tools
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
