Job Description:

As a Senior Engineer in the Cell Technology Team, you will work at the forefront of battery innovation. You will support the scouting and evaluation of new materials and chemistries and collaborate with internal and external partners. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone curious, independent, and eager to grow.

The TOOLS you'll need to have:
  • A desire to lead the scouting, designing and validating of novel battery cell technologies, focusing on improving energy, power, charge rate and cycle life.
  • The drive & ownership to design, execute, and analyze experiments related to new material and cell testing.
  • The ability to collaborate across disciplines to integrate new technologies into our platforms.
  • The expertise to analyze electrochemical data, carry out root cause analysis, and investigate degradation or failure mechanisms.


The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field with 5+ years job experience (2+ years battery technologies) is required. Master's degree with 5+ years experience in battery technologies like Li-Ion, Na-Ion, Solid-State etc. is preferred.
  • Experience with Physics based Simulation/Mechanical Simulation/Thermal Simulation for Battery Cells
  • Interest in exploring innovative technologies to identify opportunities and advantages, with a strong drive to learn and grow with a never settle, always improving attitude.
  • Effective time management skills with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Clear, candid communicator who enjoys collaborating with others and building relationships across disciplines.
