Position Overview: We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Procurement Professional to lead end-to-end material procurement management for complex projects within our Oil & Gas / Energy business unit. The ideal candidate will possess deep category expertise in midstream/interstate pipeline materials, a proven track record of managing high-value capital spend, and advanced expertise utilizing SAP in a hands-on Buyer capacity. ...

What You'll Do Strategic Procurement Leadership: Lead the end-to-end material procurement management of high-complexity capital projects and specialized material commodities within the Oil & Gas sector. Commercial & Technical Evaluations: Conduct rigorous bid analysis and commercial evaluations of large-scale proposals. Coordinate technical evaluations with project engineering clients and leverage data-driven insights to lead high-stakes negotiations with global suppliers. Sourcing Management: Develop, issue, and execute complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs). Accountability: Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the entire lifecycle of purchase orders within your assigned category and project scope. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise extensively with suppliers and cross-functional internal stakeholders (Supplier Qualification, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Risk, etc.) to mitigate project risk and ensure compliance. Industry Relations: Leverage established industry contacts and existing relationships with manufacturers and distributors of interstate natural gas pipe, valves, fittings, and other critical Oil & Gas categories. Contract Administration: Deeply understand, interpret, and enforce all terms and conditions of purchase orders and master service agreements (MSAs) in all supplier dealings.
