The Business Development Manager - FAS is responsible for collaborating with the Country Leader and Global BD Director to develop the overall business development and sales strategy for the FAS business globally. This role ensures that the business development process is executed in alignment with the global FAS strategy in the most effective, efficient, and professional manner possible, in accordance with established business development processes and procedures. The position develops and maintains tier-one key global BLS accounts and regional customer relationships through appropriate value propositions, ethical sales practices, and effective internal collaboration to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • In partnership with the Business Development Director, BL Leader, and Regional Operations Director, develops the overall strategy for business development and sales for the FAS business in the EU.
  • Coordinates business development and sales efforts across the FAS EU Business Line and EU regional business lines, general managers, and regional directors.
  • In partnership with BL leadership, assumes primary responsibility for selecting regional FAS accounts to develop and expand sales within those customers.
  • Coordinates with FAS BL leadership to ensure that sold work is appropriately resourced to support success throughout the lifecycle of engagements, projects, and programs.
  • Leads the pursuit, sale, and close of FAS engagements with selected strategic customers.
  • Collaborates with the marketing department and FAS marketing resources to ensure business development and sales collateral is regularly updated and that messaging and branding are aligned across proposals, presentations, professional conferences, and related engagements.
  • Builds credibility with FAS regional teams by reflecting the FAS vision, aligning priorities, building consensus, and encouraging employee development.
  • Executes sales plans, delivers against business goals, and drives proactive change to improve sales performance and customer service.
  • Coordinates proposal development with planning, estimating, operations, and inside sales teams.
  • Collaborates with other business lines and business development leaders to drive cross-selling opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience in the Facility Services or related industry is required.
  • Prior sales experience required
  • Frequent Regional Travel
