Job Description:We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Workers Compensation knowledge and experience with 5+ years insurance experience. They will bridge the gap between IT and insurance operations, analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions for policy, claims, and underwriting systems. They require deep knowledge of US workers' comp regulations, 5+ years of insurance experience, and skills in requirement gathering, SQL, and agile methodologies.
In addition, they will work with customers and IT teams to analyze processes, identify improvements, and implement strategic, high-complexity solutions. They lead projects, mentor junior staff, define system requirements, drive data-driven decision-making, perform testing, work with customers to define test cases/matrices along with helping to ensure the system remain regulatory compliant as defined
Key Responsibilities & Skills- Strategic Analysis: Evaluating business needs to create, test, and implement technical solutions.
- Project Leadership: Managing the full project lifecycle, including defining scope and managing risks.
- Documentation: Creating detailed requirements, functional specifications, and data flow analyses.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with various departments to ensure IT systems align with business goals.
- Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data visualization tools.
Qualifications & Compensation - Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or technology is generally required, with masters preferred.
- Experience: 3-5+ years in a business analyst role, with 5+ years' experience in Insurance Software Domain.
- Experience and knowledge of US workers' comp regulations
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,400 - $156,800.
