Job DescriptionSenior Business Analyst - Enterprise Application ModernizationWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and technical design activities for a high-visibility, multi-year application modernization initiative in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The ideal candidate combines deep business process expertise with the ability to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions for large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities- Partner withcross-functional teams and executives to understand business processes,define requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborateclosely with application and solution architects to drive design directionand validate technical designs for accuracy, completeness, and qualitystandards.
- Guide decisionson legacy modernization, integration of existing solutions, and custom vs.off-the-shelf implementations.
- Lead responsivedesign initiatives to ensure human-centric application solutions.
- Create processmodels, data flows, and business diagrams using industry-standard tools.
- Act as aliaison between business and technical teams to ensure software isdelivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Mentor junioranalysts and support best-practice adoption across the team.
Requirements- 12+ years as aBusiness Analyst or similar role with a strong record of translatingcomplex business processes into technical requirements.
- 8+ yearsworking directly with application and solution architects on large-scaletechnical designs.
- Bachelor'sdegree required.
- Expertisereviewing technical specifications for quality, accuracy, andresponsiveness.
- Deep knowledgeof Agile, DevOps, and modern programming frameworks with ability to workin hybrid SDLC environments (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
- Proficiencywith process modeling tools for flowcharts, data models, and businessprocess diagrams.
- Experienceidentifying gaps in existing software systems and designing solutionsthrough new features, third-party integrations, or legacy systemenhancements.
- Familiaritywith enterprise integration, APIs, middleware, cloud computing, and otherinfrastructure considerations impacting software choices.
