Senior Business Analyst - Lending Category: Business Analysis (functional and technical)

Position Description: Join a high visibility banking and lending modernization initiative where you'll partner directly with business and technology leaders to shape how loan origination, underwriting, and servicing processes evolve in the wealth management area. This remote role offers exposure to enterprise scale financial systems, a collaborative Agile delivery team, and strong growth potential for a Business Analyst looking to deepen domain expertise in lending.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements for lending origination, underwriting, and servicing initiatives.
. Facilitate requirements workshops and interviews with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
. Create and maintain business process models, data flow diagrams, and data mapping documentation.
. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT delivery team throughout the project lifecycle.
. Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews) as well as Waterfall style delivery phases where required.
. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case review and defect triage.
. Identify gaps, risks, and process improvement opportunities within existing lending workflows.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements elicitation and documentation (essential)
. Direct experience in third party lending with an understanding of the lifecycle of the loan is required. This will include origination, underwriting, and/or servicing in a wealth management context (essential)
. Demonstrated experience with business process modeling and data mapping (essential)
. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to serve as a business/IT liaison (essential)
. Experience supporting both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies, including UAT coordination (essential)
Preferred Skills:
. Business Analysis or Agile certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI PBA, or CSPO
. Experience with core lending platforms or loan origination systems
Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00- $156,700.00.
