About the Opportunity

Koalafi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Consumer and Merchant Analytics team, which supports analytics across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Compliance.

This role will primarily support our Sales organization. You will own a set of key recurring weekly and monthly deliverables, while playing a key role in building out better reporting, forecasting, and a deeper understanding of how to enable our sales team to operate more efficiently. This is as much a build role as it is an execution role; we're looking for someone who will make the recurring work faster and sharper, not just keep it running.

Beyond sales, you'll support the rest of the team's partners - most often Product - with work tied to long-term company plans, including feature rollouts and the testing and measurement plans behind new launches.

Responsibilities
  • Execute recurring weekly and monthly sales reports, dashboards, and analyses, delivering accurate, timely results.
  • Improve and automate those recurring deliverables so the team spends less time producing reports and more time interpreting them.
  • Build and refine sales forecasting, including pipeline, capacity, and target-setting analysis in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Identify where the sales organization can operate more efficiently - rep productivity, merchant prioritization, onboarding and activation, and funnel conversion - and turn those findings into recommendations that stick.
  • Partner with Sales and Data teams to improve the quality and structure of the underlying sales data.
  • Partner with product teams on new feature rollouts: define success metrics, design test and measurement plans, and deliver clear read-outs.
  • Support long-term company planning with analysis that informs roadmap priorities and launch sequencing.
  • Develop and maintain the data queries and BI assets that enable self-serve analytics.
  • Present findings to leadership in clear, compelling formats that influence strategy and execution.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.).
  • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related role. Experience in Sales Analytics preferred
  • Strong SQL skills; able to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
  • Experience building BI dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experiment design.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.
