Senior Business Analyst - MPW Replatform
JOB SUMMARY
The MPW Replatform project requires an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile/Scrum experience to bridge business needs and technology delivery. The role will lead requirements management from discovery through implementation, translating complex business, operational, system, and data requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and actionable delivery requirements. The Senior BA will facilitate cross-functional workshops, support backlog refinement and sprint planning, manage requirements traceability and dependencies, and partner with technology, business, operations, vendors, and Quality Engineering throughout solution design, testing, UAT, implementation, and post-release support.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end requirements management, from discovery and requirements elicitation through implementation and post-release support.
• Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business, functional, system, and data requirements.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enable Agile delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business SMEs, Product, Compliance, Operations, vendors, and technology stakeholders.
• Analyze current business processes and develop process maps, workflows, business rules, data definitions, BRDs, TRDs, and supporting documentation.
• Support solution design by identifying integrations, data mappings, process impacts, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across requirements, development artifacts, test cases, and delivered solutions.
• Work with Quality Engineering and business teams to develop test scenarios, support UAT and defect resolution, and validate that delivered solutions meet business outcomes.
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery execution.
• Serve as a key liaison across business, operations, product, and technology teams, helping ensure the solution being developed remains aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Facilitating cross-functional workshops and collaborating with IT Project Managers and business stakeholders.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure they are accurately translated into business documentation.
• Supporting vendor discovery sessions and translating discussions into business workflows and process documentation.
• Ensuring business requirements, procedures and workflows are properly captured and documented.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation and management, business-process analysis, systems thinking, testing, UAT, and technology implementation.
• Financial services experience.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, highly regulated environments.
• 8+ years of overall IT industry experience, with 5+ years in a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst / Technology Business Systems Analyst / IT Business Analyst capacity supporting technology delivery initiatives.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and Agile ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirements documentation.
• Experience partnering with QA/QE teams on testing, defect triage, and UAT.
• Strong requirements elicitation, decomposition, prioritization, and change-management capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements and business rules into clear system requirements and Agile user stories.
• Strong process analysis and systems-thinking capabilities.
• Ability to understand and analyze data flows, integrations, cross-system dependencies, and business impacts.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent requirements-management tools.
• Ability to create and maintain requirements documentation, process flows, business rules, data definitions, decision logs, and traceability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions involving business and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and business functions.
• Comfortable operating in complex, highly regulated environments.
• Able to act as an effective liaison between business and development teams, helping align solution design and delivery with stakeholder needs.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to manage priorities and support decision-making across business and technology.
• Strong Business Analysis experience.
