Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with mandatory hands-on experience in ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform) and strong knowledge of the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have experience working with US insurance companies or insurance package vendors, particularly across new business, underwriting, policy administration, claims, data and reporting, analytics, and actuarial processes. The role involves insurance product configuration, policy administration system management, business process analysis, transaction processing, testing, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze insurance business requirements and processes across new business, underwriting, policy administration, claims, data and reporting, analytics, and actuarial functions.
• Support insurance product setup and policy administration system management.
• Analyze and document insurance business processes, operational workflows, transactions, and policy value processing.
• Configure insurance products within ALIP, including parameters, values, product and rider rules, administration rules, correspondence rules, and state-specific variation rules.
• Support transaction and process configuration, including creating wireframes and defining business input screens, transaction processing screens, and workflow rules.
• Work hands-on with ALIP web applications, including data entry, executing cycles, running staging jobs, and troubleshooting issues.
• Create wireframes, business process flows, functional specifications, product specifications, and other project-related documentation.
• Develop test cases and perform functional and system testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Conduct walkthroughs, workshops, and meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate proposed solutions and provide analytical support for business and technical decisions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure insurance product configurations and system processes align with business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience with ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform) is mandatory.
• Good understanding of the Life Insurance domain, preferably with experience working for US insurance companies or insurance package vendors.
• Experience with applications and processes related to new business, underwriting, policy administration, claims, data and reporting, analytics, or actuarial functions.
• Experience in insurance product setup and policy administration system management.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes and operations.
• Thorough understanding of insurance transactions and policy value processing.
• Knowledge of ALIP or Navisys, including Home Office and Front Office functionalities.
• Experience configuring insurance products, including parameters, values, product and rider rules, administration rules, correspondence rules, and state-specific variation rules.
• Experience with transaction and process setup, including business input screens, transaction processing screens, and workflow rules.
• Hands-on experience with ALIP web applications, including data entry, executing cycles, running staging jobs, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of XML and XPath.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office tools, including Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating test cases and performing testing.
• Strong documentation skills, including creating wireframes, business process flows, functional specifications, and product specifications.
• Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
