Full Job Description
We're looking for a Building Automation Specialist to support complex BAS projects across the Houston area. This is a hands-on role focused on commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing building automation systems to ensure peak performance, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability.
While Siemens platforms are a core focus, we're open to candidates with strong experience in Johnson Controls Metasys and/or Niagara Framework environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Install, commission, and support BAS systems across multiple commercial projects
Troubleshoot and resolve complex controls, integration, and network issues
Modify and optimize control sequences, alarms, graphics, and system performance
Support integration of third-party systems (chillers, meters, power monitoring, etc.)
Perform functional testing, startup, and system validation
Provide technical support to customers, including system upgrades and enhancements
Assist with mentoring junior technicians and supporting field teams as needed
Maintain accurate documentation including as-builts, point lists, and system databases
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and contractors from install through turnover
