Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is searching for an experienced Senior Budget Analyst to support our customer in Springfield VA. This role is going to be primarily responsible for the formulation, execution and monitoring of funds, including critical allocations for cybersecurity funding to protect vital digital infrastructure.

This role is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that agency operations align with both legislative mandates and fiscal limits.
  • Collaborate with program managers to project future funding needs, draft comprehensive budget proposals, and strictly monitor ongoing expenditures to prevent overspending.
  • Conducting continuous variance analyses and ensuring compliance with strict government regulations.
  • Provide vital financial decision support to agency leadership, helping to maintain fiscal discipline, transparency, and accountability.


Minimum Qualifications

10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.

The ideal candidate must possess expert, hands-on knowledge of the PPBE cycle, federal acquisition processes, and advanced budget formulation and execution.

An active Top Secret/SCI w/Poly security clearance is required to support the program office on day one.

Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in NGA Financial systems to manage complex funding actions, lead program reviews, and ensure strict compliance with fiscal law and FAR audit standards
