Senior Bridge Engineerto join our Duluth, GA team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.
- Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.
- Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.
Minimum requirements: - Bachelor of Science • Civil Engineering
- 10 - 15 years of progressive professional experience designing bridges
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
- Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry
- Experience coaching and leading lower-level professionals
- Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols
- GDOT experience preferred • Good written and verbal communication skills
Technical requirements: - Licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia or comparable license within the United States
- Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred
- Master of Civil Engineering preferred
- Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD
- Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and GDOT in house design software preferred
Other miscellaneous qualities: - Ability to travel, if so what 25% of the time
