Associate or Bachelor's Degree in BIM technology, Civil Engineering, or related field
6-10+ years of full-time experience in Civil BIM design
Strong knowledge of Civil elements and design principles
Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Experience with coordination platforms like Autodesk Forma, Navisworks, or Revizto
Familiarity with Revit and MicroStation is a plus

Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil BIM designer to drive the delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects through advanced BIM coordination, digital delivery, and model management practices.
The Opportunity
Manage and coordinate BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up. Utilize workflows to review BIM models to ensure model data is consistent and compliant with project contractual requirements and model health checks.
Direct collaboration with the design teams to develop civil BIM models. Develop logically organized, easy to read accurate construction drawings from the discipline models.
Work with other disciplines to ensure overall design fits together and satisfies each discipline's individual requirements
Develop civil engineer's concepts and sketches into accurate models and drawings, through direct communications
Able to lead multi-discipline project and manage team, corresponding to drawings and BIM requirements.
Managing incoming/outgoing project model and drawing information. Reviewing project discipline models and drawings to ensure the overall design fits together and satisfies each discipline's delivery stage requirements and maintain an accurate copy of all issued content.
Champion and promote best practices in BIM project delivery. At the project and regional BIM team level, actively practice and support ongoing improvements to our automation tools, software, and best practice workflows.
Providing technical support and mentoring as required for the project team. Co-create digital inception plans with project managers, host training, onboarding and BIM Kick off sessions and prepare supporting training documentation.
Providing insight from data, developing, and implementing workflows that highlight change management, code compliance and interference checking issues in the project models. Proactively communicating design coordination issues to the design team and implementing their resolution.
Manage submissions and ensure proper QA/QC protocols are implemented
Help teach engineers and new technicians the software skills necessary to be successful in their jobs
Is this role right for you?
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in BIM technology, Civil Engineering or related field

Proficient in both Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Proficiency in a recognized Coordination authoring platform or application - Autodesk Forma (previously known as Autodesk Construction Cloud) Model Coordination, Navisworks, Revizto or similar.
Knowledge of Revit and MicroStation would be useful
Experience in Excel operating and programming
Experience in AutoLISP creation and scripting for Civil 3D and AutoCAD

San Francisco Hiring Range - Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $113,256 - $130,894 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of San Francisco will differ.
