Job Title: Senior Bid Specialist
Job Location: Miami, Florida & New York/New Jersey Area
Position Summary: To manage bid pricing activities for USA to ensure that growth targets are achieved in accordance with company objectives and budgetary requirements. Works in close partnership with Sales, Product and Country Management.
Key Responsibilities: • Support sales management in proactively identifying opportunities within the country pipeline to improve bid process.
• Complete pre bid activities with sales including but not limited to customer reporting, market research, customer development plan and win plan reviews
• Utilize creative thinking to bring new ideas, and increase opportunity win plan through strategic value propositions.
• Establish core stakeholder group for each bid, and manage all communication throughout the bid process.
• Host kick off and regular follow up meetings to coordinate best results for customer solutions.
• Work closely with all products, legal, risk management and sales to manage approvals for bids.
• Liaise with management & operational staff to ensure company objectives & strategies are accomplished.
• Run full project management throughout bid process to ensure all pieces (pricing from product and solutions) are complete and delivered on time.
• Complete post bid activities incl. post bid reviews and follow up on actions established.
• Store approved country specific content for questionnaires
• Support and prepare new business proposals incl. RFI creation.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, air freight, ocean freight, pricing, bid management, or related fields.
• Experience managing RFQs, proposals, pricing, or commercial tender processes preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Pay Range: $79,777.50 - $106,370.00+ (Based on Experience)
