Kearney & Company is seeking a cleared Senior Audit Manager for an onsite role to provide audit services to support the Government's financial statement audit in Fort Meade, Maryland. Join one of the Best Places to Work and make an impact that matters!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform audit procedures applying analytical and business skills on the engagement
- Contribute to research, planning, and testing activities
- Contribute to work streams by drafting documents to include working papers
- Plan, execute and review work streams of the engagement
- Provide input to methodology while coordinating analysis with other project personnel
- Review working papers of other auditors
- Prepare and implement audit program
- Prepare and present solutions and deliverables
- Prepare and deliver briefings, lead discussions with Government, and facilitate meetings.
- Prepare and present team and deliverable status reports in status meetings
- Responsible for day to day oversight of the audit engagement
- Design, implement, and manage the project
- Oversee multiple audit workstreams and managers
- Direct engagement planning, supervision, and completion of work
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a general field of study
- Minimum 8 years of auditing/accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years of as a manager of a financial audit engagement
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Fort Meade, MD
- Minimum active TS/SCI with Poly for the IC (Intelligence Community) (U.S. citizenship required)

The expected salary range for this position is between $93,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
