Brief Description

The position of Senior Associate performs value-add audits under the leadership of the Americas internal audit team. The Senior Associate is a key part of the Global Assurance & Advisory Services team to ensure we maintain a leading-practice program and continue to embed sustainable processes and controls within the Company's culture. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of audit and internal controls experience, the ability to work with a team of 5-8 people to deliver value-add audit and consulting services, effective presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Execute a broad range of audit and compliance initiatives with guidance from Americas management team.
  • Serve as the auditor-in-charge to lead audit projects.
  • Execute key planning, fieldwork, and reporting of stages of engagements while overseeing the work of assigned staff
  • Perform thorough reviews to analyze the adequacy of internal controls, compliance with corporate standards and other policies, regulatory provisions, etc.
  • Leverage data analytics and collaborate with other functions of Assurance & Advisory Services including IT Audit, SOX Compliance, and the global teams during audit projects.
  • Prepare well-organized, concise, and accurate working papers.
  • Analyze evidence, reach conclusions, and suggest recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  • Validate audit findings with business and functional personnel for inclusion in the final audit report.
  • Draft clear, concise, and well-supported audit reports in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical skills in accounting, audit, information technology and other areas.
  • Support ad-hoc activities and projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent, required.
  • CPA or CIA, preferred (or actively pursuing CPA or CIA).
  • 4+ years of combined relevant audit, consulting, or manufacturing accounting experience required.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Word.Knowledge and experience working with Oracle R12, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a positive rapport with team members.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, confidence, and poise under pressure.
  • Travel up to 30%, which may include international
