Senior Associate, Product Management — US Card Authentication CX

About the Team
Every day, millions of Capital One customers call in and within seconds we have to answer one question with total confidence: Is this really them? The Authentication Team builds the tools and experiences needed to answer that question and keep our customer protected from the ever-evolving fraud landscape. This role sits within the US Card Fraud organization and contributes to the mission of revolutionizing the banking industry through better information and technology.
About the Role
We're looking for a visionary who wants to imagine the authentication experiences of the future. You'll be responsible for defining the destination-state vision for how authentication should work in an AI-driven world and you’ll play a role in reinventing the tools customers use to authenticate themselves at Capital One. You'll own the product strategy end-to-end and lead a dedicated technology team to bring it to life.
What You'll Do
- Partner across Ops, BA, and Tech to define the destination-state architecture and experience for authentication that optimizes for fraud loss prevention, customer experience and agent efficiency
- Turn the product strategy into shipped software by leading the tech team's execution
- Explore where AI-driven capabilities can strengthen fraud detection or the authentication experience itself and champion AI-powered tooling to help your team move faster and smarter
- Let data make the call and prove your bets worked after you ship them
- Build real influence across the org by working directly with Fraud Strategy, Risk, Legal/Compliance, Design, and Servicing Operations

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering
- 3+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of partnership with engineering
- Experience working in fraud, risk, identity verification, authentication, or another highly regulated financial services domain
- Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI-powered product capabilities and AI-assisted product delivery tools
- Experience using data and experimentation to inform product decisions
- Experience partnering directly with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A bias toward white-space thinking

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York, NY: $121,300 - $138,400 for Sr. Associate, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
