Ares Digital Infrastructure ("ADI") is part of Ares's Real Assets platform, created to invest in high-quality digital infrastructure assets to support the growth of the ever-expanding global demand for data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. Ares Digital Infrastructure has built a large portfolio of data center assets globally, recently completing its inaugural US$2.4 billion data center development fund in Japan. ADI is supported by Ada Infrastructure, its wholly-owned global data center operating platform. Ada Infrastructure provides development, leasing, asset management, facilities management, security, and other customer services to ADI's data center asset portfolio.

The team is seeking a Senior Associate in New York who will work closely with the investment team on sourcing, due diligence, and executing investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for a strong performer who has experience with financial analysis and research through other experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Investment research
  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
  • Industry and competitive analysis
  • Business diligence
  • Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
  • Conduct research on companies, industries, and asset classes
  • Perform all pertinent financial analyses
  • Prepare due diligence packs for the investment team, providing relevant, informative analytics, and background research
  • Conduct interviews with industry experts
  • Prepare written summaries and presentation materials for the investment team
  • Build detailed operating models on prospective deals
  • Draft information memorandum and marketing materials for the investment team
  • Provide overall support to investment team


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with excellent academic record


Experience Required:

  • 3-6 years of investment banking, private equity, principal investing, or consulting experience

  • Fluent spoken and written communication in English.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong technical skills and ability to build complex operating models

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$190,000.00 - $200,000.00
