Job Description

Clyde & Co is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to work with Trial and Defense practice. The ideal candidate will have superior writing skills and will be proactive, motivated, organized, and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Taking depositions, attending hearings, and attending mediations as required;
  • Drafting pleadings and briefs;
  • Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients;
  • Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
  • Drafting interrogatories and document requests;
  • Reviewing document productions; and
  • Submitting filings to the court.


Education and Experience
  • J.D. 2021 - 2023
  • Admission to practice in Massachusetts
  • Admission to additional New England bars is preferred; and
  • Excellent academic credentials.


Skills and Ability
  • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills;

The salary range for this position is $190,000-$210,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
