DescriptionPLEX Solutions, A Part of Markon is looking for a motivated Senior Application developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale. The Senior Application Developer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then deliver innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science.
Responsibilities
- Mission Focus: Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, deploy and maintain tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GM, Java, Python, PySpark. Experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data. Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and data analysis. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; familiarity with Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is required
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GM, Java, Python, PySpark.
- Experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data.
- Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and data analysis.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; familiarity with Agile methodologies
Salary RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
