  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages that explain route and network financial performance, key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and variances to forecast, budget, and prior year
  • Use SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel to extract, validate, summarize, and analyze large, complex commercial and financial datasets
  • Analyze drivers of route and network performance, including revenue trends, cost trends, capacity and schedule changes, and competitive dynamics
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate route profitability, network and schedule changes, and other Commercial investment decisions
  • Partner with Network Planning, Scheduling, Revenue Management, and other teams to understand analytical outputs and translate findings into financial implications, forecast updates, and business narratives
  • Support the development of financial forecasts, annual budgets, long-range plans, and business cases for network, schedule, and other Commercial initiatives
  • Lead ad hoc analyses requested by Commercial FP&A leadership and business partners, including opportunity sizing, sensitivity analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
  • Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and reporting inefficiencies; recommend and help implement improvements to increase accuracy, consistency, and automation
  • Prepare materials for leadership discussions, including charts, variance explanations, and concise written commentary
  • Build strong working relationships across Commercial, Finance, Accounting, IT, and other business partner teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong SQL skills, including experience writing complex queries to extract, join, validate, and analyze data (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Experience using Python or other scripting languages to automate processes
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with financial modeling, including building, maintaining, and improving models to support forecasting, business cases, or profitability analysis

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including ability to organize data, build analysis, summarize findings, and prepare clear presentation materials
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to evaluate large datasets, identify key business drivers, pressure-test assumptions, and communicate implications clearly
  • Ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems and manage multiple priorities, recurring deadlines, and ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
