Position Overview

As a Senior Analyst, you will evaluate clean energy contracts for utility-scale projects using meteorological and power market data. You will perform detailed settlement and auditing calculations on projects and contracts for asset owners, buyers, and investors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop insights into the generation and financial performance of renewable projects and portfolios.

Analyze and understand electricity market, meteorological, and utility-scale wind, solar, and storage project data.

Calculate the project generation and settlement amount for clean energy contracts.

Audit invoices for accuracy of generation, price, and application of contract settlement clauses.

Continue the advancement of REsurety's settlement and project performance assessment capabilities.

Execute quality control checks of data critical to business processes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

2+ years of industry experience in clean energy development, asset management, consulting, advisory or finance.

Background in math, finance, accounting, physics, engineering, atmospheric science, data science, or a related field.

Proficiency with Excel and foundational experience (or a strong interest in developing proficiency) in SQL and Python.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience processing large datasets, including meteorological, finance, or operating wind or solar farm data
  • Experience generating settlement and performance reports for power purchase agreements
  • Experience working in auditing or accounting of financial statements
  • Familiarity with R, KNIME, APIs, and JSON data formats
  • Experience with wind and solar resource assessment techniques (including working with Windographer, PVsyst, etc.)

Compensation, Benefits and Location

The base compensation range for this position is $81,600 - $87,000.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This range does not include annual bonus, equity-based incentives, and benefits.
